Quality & safety

In-process checks and disciplined site practice.

Quality review is built into fabrication rather than left only to a final inspection. On infrastructure sites, work follows standard industrial safety practices and is coordinated with the client’s engineering and safety teams.

01

Material verification

Materials used in fabrication are checked against what the job specifies, with traceability kept through the workshop stages.

  • Verification of plate, sections and fittings against the specified material
  • Traceability through fabrication
  • Release of work only after the specified checks for that stage

02

Dimensional checks

Critical dimensions, nozzle locations and fittings are measured against the client layout as fabrication proceeds.

  • Checks against the issued drawings and client layout
  • Nozzle, manway and fitting positions
  • Interface dimensions that affect site installation

03

Weld-quality review

Welds, seams and sheet work are reviewed against the relevant specification before the item leaves the workshop.

  • Review of welds and seams during fabrication
  • Sheet work checked against the specification
  • Correction and re-check when a defect is found

04

Checks as the work proceeds

Quality checks are built into fabrication rather than left exclusively to a final inspection.

  • In-process review at workshop stages
  • Hold on dispatch until the listed checks are complete
  • The same attention applied to finishing work on site

05

Site safety practice

Work on project sites follows standard industrial safety practices, to protect both the site team and the client’s facility.

  • Standard industrial safety practices at project sites
  • Careful handling of site installation and finishing work
  • Access, lifting and hot work treated as part of the method for that site

06

Coordination with client teams

Site work is coordinated with the client’s engineering and safety teams rather than carried out in isolation.

  • Alignment with the client’s engineering contacts
  • Coordination with site safety requirements
  • Communication through installation and handover

Project approach

A straightforward sequence

Every project — whether a single vessel or a roofing and sheeting package — is taken through the same basic order of work.

  1. 01

    Understand the scope

The starting point is the work the client needs done, including drawings, process parameters and site conditions that have been shared.

  2. 02

    Review engineering requirements

Issued drawings and specifications are reviewed before fabrication starts, so missing or conflicting details can be raised early.

  3. 03

    Fabricate to specification

Workshop work follows the relevant specifications for the order, with in-process checks rather than a single inspection at the end.

  4. 04

Coordinate procurement, transport and site work

Materials, transport and site installation are coordinated as the project requires — not as a fixed package applied to every job.

  5. 05

Install, hand over and stay in touch

Site installation and finishing are carried out with communication maintained through to handover.
